Reserve Collection
Items on reserve at the iDesk check out for two hours and must remain in the library building. Shorter loan periods could be enacted during periods of high demand. Reserve item loans are limited to one at a time.
Returning Items
Items are to be returned to the iDesk when the library building is open. If the library is closed, use a library book drop located outside the library’s south entrance. Technology may not be left in the book drop and must be returned to the iDesk. Note: All checked out items are subject to immediate return if needed for the reserve collection.
Holds
Patrons may place holds on items that are currently in use by other patrons. This can be done online via your Library account or by the iDesk staff.
Renewals
If not on hold for another patron, you may renew borrowed items online via your Library account. You may also renew them by visiting or contacting the iDesk. A maximum of 4 renewals is allowed per item.
Overdue, Lost or Damaged Items
Library patrons are responsible for returning items on time. Overdue fines are no longer charged, but a $25 replacement fee will be assessed for all lost books and reserve materials will be charged at market value. For all lost or damaged technology, please see the technology lending policy.
Any unfulfilled library obligations will place a hold on the student's account.
