Research Support

Evans Library provides information resources and assistance to students, faculty and staff in all Florida Tech disciplines in a welcoming environment in-person and online. Librarians and staff guide students through the research process with expertise and offer assignment, project and research assistance in the Library, via chat and email or by appointment.

Instruction is offered year-round both by dedicated instruction librarians and library liaisons as course-integrated sessions on subject-specific library resources. The Library also offers regularly-scheduled DSL workshops, research support workshops and graduate student-specific GradTrack workshops.

The Library subscribes to more than 120 databases with access to journal articles, ebooks, conference proceedings, and other scholarly periodicals; curriculum-focused print and government documents as part of the Federal Depository Library Program. Scholarly papers by Florida Tech researchers and students' theses and dissertations are available online through the open-access Scholarship Repository.

The Harry P. Weber University Archives and Historical Timeline document Florida Tech’s history. Special collections include the papers of Edwin A. Link, Major General Bruce Medaris and poet laureate Edmund Skellings.
