The Harry P. Weber University Archives documents the essential functions and history of the Florida Institute of Technology and its impact on the community by collecting, preserving, and making available records of intrinsic value created by the university and its members including: departments and offices of the university; faculty, staff, and alumni of the university; and other affiliated agencies or people as deemed appropriate. The University Archives collects items documenting university beginnings, growth and challenges, key decisions affecting the future of the university, the activities, history and culture of the university, and key functions of the university and its operations.
Special Collections promotes discovery, dialogue, learning, and the nourishment of the human spirit. Special Collections collects, preserves, and makes available to scholars and the public materials of intrinsic value that support Florida Tech’s mission and aspiration. Special Collections contains resources that include books, correspondence, photographs, maps, physical objects, recordings, and memorabilia. Special Collections seeks to acquire materials of importance and relevance to Florida Tech communities, its disciplines, and the personalities who play significant roles in these realms.
